YES! This is the most common question we get. Formula Flora will work with ALL plants, from flowers, to fruits and vegetables to trees.
- Is it possible to mix Formula Flora fertilizer with other brands of fertilizers?
No! It could give a chemical reaction so do NOT mix Formula Flora with other brands of fertilizers.
-How often should I use Formula Flora?
You can use Formula Flora on your plants with every watering. As long as you feed your plants Formula Flora Grow in the pre- flowering period
and Formula Flora Bloom in the Flowering period.[ Note! Give only pH adjusted fresh water in the last week of the flowering period.]
- Are fertilizers harmful to pets or kids?
Fertilizers, like many other household chemicals, should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
- Can you fertilize too much?
Yes, over-fertilization can burn plant leaves or stunt growth. More is rarely better when using fertilizers. Always read and follow label
recommendations for fertilizer rates, dilutions, and application guidelines. If you are ever in doubt use less fertilizer.
- What does N-P-K stand for?
N = Nitrogen
Nitrogen is the first major element responsible for the vegetative growth of plants above ground. With a good supply, plants grow sturdily and mature rapidly,
with rich, dark green foliage.
P = Phosphorus
The second major element in plant nutrition, phosphorus is essential for healthy growth, strong roots, fruit and flower development, and greater resistance
to disease.
K = Potassium (Potash) The third major plant nutrient, potassium oxide is essential for the development of strong plants. It helps plants to resist diseases,
protects themfrom the cold and protects during dry weather by preventing excessive water loss.
What do the numbers on a fertilizer bag represent?
The numbers indicate the amounts or percentages of nitrogen, phosphate and potash in the fertilizer. These three nutrients are needed in relatively large
quantities by most plants. The first number refers to the amount of nitrogen, the second refers to the amount of phosphate, and the third refers to the amount of potash.
For example Formula Flora, a 10-25-10 contains 10 percent nitrogen, 25 percent phosphate and 10 percent potash.
